New AI Models Added Since March 2026
Anthropic updates
- Added Claude Sonnet 5 — Anthropic's newest mid-tier model, now recommended as the default Claude option
- Added Claude Opus 4.7 and Claude Opus 4.8 — successive upgrades to Anthropic's flagship reasoning model
- Added Claude Fable 5 — a new frontier model from Anthropic
- Deprecated Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Opus 4.1, and Claude Opus 4.5 in favor of their newer successors
OpenAI updates
- Added GPT-5.5 — OpenAI's latest flagship model, now recommended as the default OpenAI option
- Added GPT-5.5 Pro — a higher-capability variant for more demanding reasoning tasks
Google updates
- Added Gemini 3.5 Flash — Google's newest fast, general-purpose model, now recommended
- Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite graduated from preview to general availability
xAI updates
- Added Grok 4.3 — an upgrade to xAI's flagship model, now recommended
Xiaomi updates
- Added MiMo-V2-Omni and MiMo-V2-Pro — Xiaomi's latest models with web search support
